Sourcing

We begin by sourcing the organic cacao beans from farmers who practice sustainable and ethical farming methods.

Roasting

The beans are expertly roasted at Two Beards Coffee Roastery to bring out their unique flavours and aromas.

Cracking and Winnowing:

The roasted beans are cracked and winnowed to separate the cacao nibs from the husks.

Pressed

A portion of the nibs are then heat pressed to expel cocoa butter.

Grinding

The cacao nibs and butter (mass), with sugar are then ground to a smooth, flavourful chocolate.

tempering

The chocolate is tempered to ensure our smooth texture, perfect snap, and glossy finish.

Moulding

The chocolate is then moulded  and cooled to  form its final shape.

Finally, it is beautifully packaged and ready for you to enjoy.

Crafting artisanal bean-to-bar chocolate is truly an art. From start to finish, it can take up to a week to perfect the process.
